This annual Discovery holiday tradition returns at a beautiful new location in easily accessible Glen Canyon/Upper Market near Mt. Davidson.  The cozy wood-panel clubroom is the perfect place to renew old acquaintances and make new friends, while sampling culinary delights and enjoying fine entertainment.  Gather around festive tables with your family of choice ("The Gays") for a delicious meal with expertly prepared dishes.  We'll have traditional turkey, a contemporary Asian-inspired twist on turkey and a vegetarian alternative main course.  Volunteer chef contributors will provide lots of yummy side dishes and salads at each table.  We'll relax by the fireplace over coffee and dessert to watch variety show performances by talented community members (from stand-up comedy to opera).  A small quantity of wine will be donated and served by the host with dinner, as well as a no-alcohol alternative.  Special "alcohol-free seating" will be arranged to accommodate personal needs and preferences.  

Chefs / Performing Artists pay the reduced price in exchange for their preparing a dish for 8-10 people, or for a live performance of music, magic, spoken word, etc. to entertain everyone.  As usual, we can use lots of help with set-up and clean up duties.  Lorenzo will contact you after you register or contact him in advance at discoverydineout@aol.com
